Our Cause

Izwoosh (አይዞሽ) is a women centered awareness platform focused on the realities facing women and girls in Ethiopia. Rooted in the meaning “you are not alone,” Izwoosh exists to resist silence, normalize truth telling, and keep attention on gender based violence, women’s rights, and lived experiences that are too often minimized or ignored.

This space brings together stories, context, and resources with care and dignity, not for spectacle or debate, but for witnessing, accountability, and collective responsibility. አይዞሽ is a quiet refusal to look away and a reminder that women’s lives, safety, and humanity are not negotiable.
